Irish Music, Bellydance what more do you want!

So I had a very bad Friday. Work was awful I was tired and just really getting to my breaking point missing my love. Plans had been made with a few friends to meet down at the James Joyce and then go to a free concert that featured Barley Juice and The Saw Doctors. First was the major step of going to the Joyce. I Had not been in there since Paul left. Not easy...everyone was asking how are you how's Paul, so what's up with you guys? I told them all the same thing. He's drinking his way across Spain right now, we talk pretty much every day, I miss him like crazy, and I leave in 9 days to see him in France. Oh and I yelled at Colin for buying him the Whiskey that made him puke in my car.

Past that we went up to the concert and had a blast. The not easy task here was the still no drinking. 41 days of no drinking, I'm listening to Irish bands and couldn't drink a Guinness. Ruta had me hold hers at one point and I almost accidentally took a sip! Barley Juice rocked! And of coarse so did the Saw Doctors. From there it was off to work at Zeebas!

My high died quick. Place was dead when I walked in. By the time I was ready and started my first set I came out to see a lot of my regulars. The guys from Pins and Needles Tattoo parlor, Sam and gang from Egyptian Pizza and the Nile Cafe crew showed up shortly. After getting lost in a song or to with some well...exciting floorwork I was feeling much better! I have one customer I can never remember his name who works for a jeweler. He kept telling me he was going to get me a belly chain to where. Finally got it last night. With a bunch of ones attached to it! Good Night at the Zeeba!

Then the unthinkable. So I have been wearing Pauls St. Patrick pendant everywhere. It makes me feel better to have a little piece of him on me always. And he told me he is the patron Saint of Bellydancers. Well when I dance I have been attaching it to my bra strap and just tucking it in my bra. Did the same last night. I went in to change and the chain was there...unhooked, the pendant missing. I FREAKED!!! Started looking in the office no luck, did a small scan of the restaurant no luck. I had all of my customers looking for it. I fell apart I started to cry and said its got to be here somewhere we need to find it. So I decided there was nothing I could do till the closed at 4:00 am and we would look for it then.

OFF TO THREE KINGS TO SEE THE STUNNING THALIA!
You rock girl!

Back to Zeeba tore the place apart nothing. I'm very superstitious and so you can imagine what is running through my head at that point. I said its gone...someone took it its gone. Ruta of coarse said you'll find it when you least expect it. Got home cleaning out my messenger bag...there it was! How the hell it got in there is beyond me! But now St Patrick is back where he belongs resting nicely between the girls! What would Freud say?!

Who is this guy?

So I came to realize that I have talked so much about this love of mine and yet...there are no pictures of this mystery man?! Who is he? What does he look like? Well here he is! Back off ladies he is so taken! This is my Paul say it with me now aaawwwwww :-) Paul and I meet a little over a year ago. He was my bartender, poured my pints what more could you want. It didn't take much for me to become intrigued by him. It took many nights sitting at that bar getting up the courage to ask out the cute bartender. Stubborn thing he was, but in the end he gave the cute bellydancer a try and now well he's stuck with me :-) I have never had someone make me feel the way he does. I have had a lot of guy friends and boyfriends in my life, and I thought that I was in love a few times, but they couldn't have really been love because it never felt like this. This is how it should feel!

I wish I could explain it. It's...a gooey feeling...like a marshmallow that you just roasted over a fire. I think about him or I talk about him and I just grin and get gooey inside. And the butterflies in the tummy feeling, it really does exist! I have never felt so secure and safe with someone.

I trust him, I love him, and I miss him like crazy! 17 more days!
