Zeeba Lounge

Bellydancing has become a passion for me. I have been dancing a little over two years now and love it! And Zeeba's has pretty much become a part of my life. Myself and former teacher and friend Ruta started at Zeeba's when they had just opened. We went through a lot in the beginning with this place, but have since made it a home. This is one thing I would miss about Baltimore. I have such a great family here at Zeebas from the customers to the staff. I love to dance! I have had so many people tell me they enjoy watching me dance because I enjoy dancing. So here are a few pics of me doing what I love! The last pic is of Behrouz and I one of the owners at Zeeba's and the best manager a bellydancer could have! Special thanks to Mike the door guy for the pictures and for putting me in a cab when I was to drunk to walk! Love you guys! (Oh and love someone has to bring home the baccon while your out on holiday. How much do you think I have on me in Euros? :-)

Hakuna Matata

My brother and I do have some things in common...we share the same address...and well that is pretty much it! Ok so thats not all true but this, this is crazy! Up at 8:00 this morning I was on my way to pick up my brother at Maryland Marina to head up to Havre de Grace to put his new toy in the water. He is now proud papa to a 31' sailboat soon to be named Hakuna Matata! He was very happy to see her in a sling ready to go in when we got there. In she went! Time to prep for the party! We procceded to clean the deck, once again I am on a sailboat with my brother doing work! All I want to do is put my butt on deck in a bikini and chill! But noooo again with the work! Mom and dad soon showed with food yayyyy! Stacy hungry after all this work!

So I want to name the boat Ohana! (ohona means family) also from a Disney movie! And today Ohana was present. For the first time in a loooonnnggg time we had, Uncle Manny and Aunt Theresa, Uncle Joel and the Kreiners all in one spot. Also joining us on this happy occasion are Tjs good friends Jo and Patrick. The scotch was opened the wine and beer were flowing (not for Stacy she still isn't drinking) and the catching up conversations were great. We sat around till the orange moon came up and the fart jokes came out. Yeah thats a sign we are all tired and its time to head home. Tomorrow she sets sail on her maiden voyage to Bowleys Quarters to come out of the water again for a few repairs. Congrats on the boat Tj she is beautiful! All the luck and lets hope it gets you a girl!

In she goes! Be gentil with her!

What did I get myself into?

Proud papa brings her into the party slip!

Saturday Morning Thoughts

It's Saturday morning, yesterday was a bit rough. Before I opened my eyes this morning I heard it. It was "pissing rain". I kept my eyes closed somehow I managed to find a spot on my pillow that still smelled like Paul. For a second I felt like I was back in Ireland with him. It didn't last long...I realized the warm embrace was not there. shortly after that Mindy chimed in with a hello! Reality, I'm still here...in Baltimore. But my heart and thoughts are thousands of miles away. I got up made some coffee and put on David Gray. So now I'm sitting here drinking my coffee, black (yes love I've started drinking it black). Stitch and Fluffy have joined me.

So many thoughts on my mind. This past year has been an incredible roller coaster ride. I was practically engaged to someone, but my heart and feelings for another yanked me away no questions asked and I found a happiness unlike I had ever felt before. He makes me smile, laugh, and sometimes cry. Thursday March 30 th at 10:30 a.m. I had to do one of the hardest things I'd ever have to do. I dropped him off at BWI airport with a one way ticket to Ireland. 3-6 months holiday. I finally get someone in my life I feel completes me and now I have to watch him go. My heart physically aches. Someone hit the nail on the head saying I had a big surgery and half of my heart was removed. What lies ahead...not to sure really. 43 days till I see him again. France this time. His happy place, where he wants to end up.

I'm ok...it's been hard. A couple of breakdowns, mostly at night when I'm all alone. This past week has been filled with international text messages. At $.20 each my phone bill is going to be outrageous but I don't really care. Just knowing wherever he is he is thinking of me makes me feel better. I miss him so much. It's going to be ok, the funny feeling I get in my heart every time I think about him has to mean something. The best thing to happen to me. So until France my heart will continue to ache. Ache for it's other half that lies thousands of miles away. What lies ahead...don't know? France...43 days....

A penny for your thoughts...
