The future Mrs. Lute

I was starting to worry I would never see the day. Sunday April 18th Dale got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. At first I said I'll have to think about it :-) but then I said "Hell to the Yeah!".

Dale told me 6 years ago he was going to make me his third wife, third time was a charm he just had to get the first two out of the way. Little did I know he was serious. For 5 years Dale and I admired each other from afar at faire, flirting here and there. I always had the hots for him but did not know that he was serious in his feelings for me. It was faire, everyone flirts at faire. Two seasons ago we both found our selves single and dealing with a lot of the same feelings and emotions. We decided to get together and have our own pity party. One thing lead to another and we found we did have a lot in common and fell in love quick.

As many relationships do we took a dive and things went south. A couple months apart made both of us realize the good thing we had. And here we are today :-) Had we actually hooked up 6 years ago or shortly after...it probably would not have worked. Both of us have grown since then. It takes life experiences to really appreciate a good thing when you have it.

I love him with all my heart. He makes me feel like a princess everyday. I am so happy that he is the person I will spend the rest of my life with. I am very excited to be the future Mrs. Lute :-)

It's a Girl and a Boy!

The girl the ringtail nursing and holding onto Fizzgig's Tail

Finally was able to tell the sex on the two Joey's. Our little ring tail is a girl and the other Joey is a Boy! We are still not officially OOP (Out of Pouch). It is getting a bit frustrating I so badly want to hold the little cuties. But untill the detach on their own for the first time I have to wait :-( Keep you posted a few more parts pictures.

RenCon 2010

This weekend was the First RenCon. The weekend was filled with Fancy Balls and wonderful vendors and as always good friends.
Dale was so excited to meet Brian Fraud and get a picture with him and an autographed book.
Dale and Brian Froud
He also got to meet Wendy Froud and get a autograph as well.
Wendy signing Dales book
Happy Dale
Saturday night featured the Dark Carnavale! Dale and I did the Steampunk thing and got Rob and Amy to join in on the fun.

Dale and his Mask that I made him.
Enjoying a light tea before the festivities :-)

All in all a very fun weekend. For this being the first RenCon I think they did a nice job. Next year will be much bigger I think. They need to make sure not to do it the same weekend as the Pirate Invasion, that kept a lot of people from going Saturday.

Dale and I did do a bit of shopping. We both got Kilts, Dale got Pride of Scotland I got Bright Skye which is just a brighter version of Isle of Skye. Dale spoiled me as usual (still not used to that). He also got me an amazing leather pouch that will go nice with the new Kilt.

Wonderful weekend all in all. I am so lucky to have someone in my life that shares in my hobbies and passions. We have so much fun together and that is the best feeling in the world. I love him with all my heart. Everyday seems to be an adventure and everyday I love him more.

BABIES!!!

FINALLY!!! Our first real looks at the babies! This picture is of the two tails. One is going to be a ring tail a lot more rare.
Moon licking bug guts off of the momma :-)
Moon pushing the baby back in. (Must be a girl :-)

Our first who look at one of the babies!

Steampunk Mask

Dale and I are doing Steampunk for a Masquerade this weekend so I made him a mask.
Starting from scratch we did a plaster mask directly on him so it would fir him.
From there we added all kinds of trinkets.

It all turned out pretty awesome!

A penny for your thoughts...
