This is just too funny not to blog!

So last weekend when we went camping we had a Cub Scout troop next to us. We were noticing they had like 3 of those portable kerosene of butane grills. I had made the comment we didn't have that luxury we used "Buddy Burners". Of course he had no clue what a Buddy Burner was. I explained that you cut one end off of a large coffee container and cut a flap in the side. You then took tuna cans and coiled a bit of cardboard paper in it and poured wax into it. You would then light the tuna can and slide it into the side of the coffee can and cook on the top of the can. Pretty cool actually. On his day off today guess what Dale did?....

Yup made a mini grill out of a coffee can!
LOL he cracks me up! I told him he gets a patch for his sash for that :-)

Torched!

Dale has been busy at work again. He made another torch to flank the one he already made. This is also a new wall mount. Looks great doesn't it?! It does fit a smaller yankee candle, but for now he has battery operated candles (shhh don't tell anyone :-) as all those candles burning just makes the house hot.

This is the first one he did.

Camping in Harper's Ferry

These are the pictures from Dale's and mine first camping trip together. We spend three days in Historic Harper's Ferry camping. I had been pretty stressed about work and stuff and he decided I needed a relaxing weekend. Dale cooked the most amazing meals and took 100% care of me all weekend. It was perfect! Can't wait to do it again :-)
