New Baby and Babies!

Yes I know I have not been the best at keeping the blog up. I do have a few things to post which I will try to catch up on soon. I don't think I ever posted about Moon Doggie! Moon Doggie is my new glider. He is a platinum mosaic. Very handsome devil :-) Because of his colors he is normally a $1200 glider. Lets just say I got lucky and did not pay that for him. My intentions were to put him in with Fizzgig for some babies, well....

Fizzgig is with Joey's! Her first litter in this photo she is about 4 weeks along and so far doing great! Another 4 weeks and we should be seeing Joeys!

Hallway renovations

So the next project was the hallway. The old hallway was as you can see orange and Fire Hydrant Paint red. I'm not kidding it was really fire hydrant paint. Loads of fun covering up!

And the final changes!

We painted it a nice shade of green and Dale added new trim work.

We painted the stairs and the cement block leading down to the basement and added new carpets.

Dale sprayed the air intake vent and used a nice wood dad gave us to top the knee wall

We used the same tile that we used in the bathroom just with green shades.

And the cake topper a new light! We are starting to get good at this :-) Next stop...I think the washroom.

A Very Victorian New Years Eve

Dale and I spent New Years Eve with Hal and close friends in an evening of Victorian splendor. My gown came in that evening at 3:00. It was a nightmare I was so worried it was not going to make it. But in the end everything turned out perfect. We had a wonderful New Years with friends and are looking forward to the new year together!

Christmas 2009

And a few pictures from our first Christmas living together. We had a nice quiet morning at home opening each others gifts, then onto my parents to exchange gifts with mom dad and TJ. Dale got me many wonderful things including costume pieces for New Year's Eve's Victorian party, knitting books, a knitting bowl and a beautiful drop spindle.

Blizzard of 09'

2009 we got lots of snow! I can't remember the total but it was a lot we did enjoy the hot tub a little as you saw before though.

Yes my car is under there.
