So what have you been doing with yourself?
Knitting! And Knitting and Knitting!
My passion for knitting is growing! When I finally finished my scarf. I went to my faithful fabric shop and picked up a 800 meter ball of Aran wool blend. More polyester then wool but that's OK. First I made a dishcloth, much needed and could use the increase and decrease practice. I made two of those one to wash the dishes one to wash the body! Then I got bold! I just finished the right glove of a fantastic set of long gloves with a cable down the front. Nice huh! ARE YOU PROUD OF ME HEATHER?! Well on my way to those sweaters :-) Working on trying to find a local knitting group will keep you posted on that. Anyway lots of love!

Christmas and Ireland
We made our way over to his mum's in Mullingar for Christmas Eve. Once there we had a little feed and went into town for a pint, wellllll a few pints :-)! Then we made our way to the church for mass. Mom would have killed me! Jeans and a nice top in church. It was such a beautiful service though. I relished in the moment. Afterwards it was home to get some sleep and wait for Santy. Yes Santy not Santa. Oh and it's Happy Christmas were as we say Merry Christmas.
Funny the little differences.
Christmas morning was great! Quiet, we stayed at home and opened presents and watched a few movies. Oh and ate and ate and ate! Constantly, you want coffee you want tea, you want cake. I ate more those two days then I normally do in a week! Crazy! Santy brought me a collection of Audry videos, a Alfa Romeo, and lots of Chocolate! The day after Christmas it was time to head back home Paul had to work on Wednesday. So we headed back to our little place and opened the presents mom had sent in the mail. Thanks mom!
And so Paul has been going to work and I have been cleaning and doing a bit of knitting here and there. Last night we went out for Pints with Denis and Patty from the James Joyce. Weird seeing them here in Ireland. It was good to see them though and I think Paul enjoyed seeing him and catching up on all the James Joyce gossip. Well that's about all the news for now will keep you posted. Lots of Love from Ireland hope all had a Happy Christmas and a great New Years!
