True...

I’m selfish, impatient, & a little insecure.
I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times hard to handle.
But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best!

Random Ramblings....

So I decided the blog stays. It happened, it’s not just going to go away. I need to get over it.

In other news. So much has been going on. Both in and out of my head. Scary thought I know! I have had some very interesting and fun people come into my life over the past few weeks.

So out of my head: My job has been going very well. I am loving the new position. The people I am working with are amazing and I am loving the fact that I am being kept busy. I can’t stand having downtime at work. I just see that as valuable time going by that I could be doing something else. As you saw in a previous post I even received a lovely bouquet of flowers from my board members. Ren Faire has been fun. Not the same as it used to be but still fun. Mostly for the chance to see some very dear friends whom I don’t have many chances to see. Then there is my Thursday night “Knitters in the Wild”. Girls night out. Good Times. So on the outside everything appears to be going well yes? I put on a good front yes?

So inside my head: Scary place…even for me. So much going on in there. 28th Birthday is coming up. Not far from 30 ughh. I find myself in a place I have never been before. I have no one to love or be loved by. (Not counting family and friends) I guess I just thought I would be further along in my life by now. I have a job and many hobbies, a pet, a 401K (LOL) and a huge heart. And no one to share any of it with. What’s wrong with me? Hmm tinking…again, I have had a lot of cool people come into my life lately. And annoyingly so a handful of them have been guys. Why is this annoying? That should be good right? Someone once told me they did not believe that we only have one soul mate. Reason being you may have a soul mate in another country and just never make it there to meet them. I have meet at least two people in the past few months that I care for a lot but live nowhere near me. Pretty much eliminates the chance of making a relationship work. I’m beginning to think my theme in life is “Wrong place, Wrong time”. Another dear friend is telling me I’m trying too hard. I guess I kind of am. The problem is I am a “want that” no BSing kind of girl. If I see something I like I go for it. I am honest and don’t play games. Where was I…? I don’t know that is why this is called random ramblings. I guess it just hurts me to think that I have so much to offer and just want to share my heart with someone and have no one to share it with. It’s funny, when Paul and I were dating the only time I noticed people holding hands was when it was a cute little old couple. I would say in my head that’s what I want. To find someone to grow old with. Now I unfortunately see every couple holding hands. Good lord I am rambling!!! What can I say the French in me is a hopeless romantic. The German in me is stubborn and the Polish is my excuse for the crappy decisions I make!

Ok random ramblings done for the moment….

Always nice to know your appreciated :-)

These lovely flowers showed up at the office today. They are from the board at my work thanking me for all my hard work. That was so sweet of them. It's always nice to know when work is seen and recognized.

Delete or not delete...that is the question...

If you go back to the first ever post I did. You will see it was started with thoughts of a man I loved very much leaving me. I find myself in the same situation and this time it is for good. Now what to do with this blog...
  • Part of me wants to delete this blog and pretend it never happened
  • Part of me wants to keep it there as a reminder of the good times we had
  • Part of me wants to keep it here to remind me how much he hurt me and to not open myself to that heartache again...

What do I do?...

Almost finished!

Well the knitting is finished! Now to weave in the endless number of tails. Ugh! All in all though a fun knit. Easy to follow pattern and the yarn is just yummy. It did turn out a bit stretchier then I would have liked but I imagine it will still be a very useful bag. Better photos to come this was just taken with my cell phone I was just to excited to have finished it on my lunch today :-D!

Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive

So much going on right now. First of all as many of you know, Paul and I are no longer together. No need to go into details. Paul and I were together for about 3 years and for everyone who actually view my blog, you know we have been through a lot together. So needless to say this has not been easy. To top it off, he has decided to leave and move to California. He is leaving the first week of September. With work not going well and no relationship to tie him down he is going on the run again. This is making this even harder on me as this pretty much means the dirt has settled and the flowers are planted. But, Knowing I will probably never see him again and that this is it for us. I told him I would rather enjoy his company and friendship while I have him before he disappears forever.

So yesterday we took a road trip to Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive. Paul had shown me some caves in Ireland and I wanted to show him ours. It had been ages since I had been to Luray myself. So I stopped off at the store and picked up some things for a nice lunch and on the road we went. Top off on the car we headed out. So here are the pictures for Stacy and Paul’s last adventure J.
